Batch EXIF Report: Export Photo Metadata to CSV
Drop up to 300 photos on the box below to get a table of their hidden data, and save it as a CSV file. Each row shows what one photo carries: location, camera model, date taken and more. WipePic makes the report in your browser, and your photos are not uploaded.

How to export EXIF data to CSV
- Drop your photos on the box, or choose them from your device. You can also pick a folder, with its subfolders.
- Wait while WipePic reads each photo. The table fills row by row.
- Check the table. A Yes means the photo has that kind of data. The last three columns show the GPS position, the camera model and the date taken.
- Click Download CSV. The file is called
exif-report.csvand opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
What is in the report
Each photo gets one row. The first columns hold the file name, the folder, the format, the size in bytes and a result, such as “Metadata found” or “No removable metadata”. A photo that WipePic cannot read, for example one that is damaged or larger than 50 MB, gets a row too, with the reason in the Result column.
Then comes one Yes or No column for each kind of data that WipePic can find and remove. These are the same kinds that the EXIF viewer shows for a single photo. The report does not list every technical tag, and it leaves out data that keeps the photo looking the same, such as rotation and color profile.
A CSV file holds plain text. If your photos carry GPS positions, the file carries them too. Treat it with the same care as the photos, and do not share it by mistake.
Your photos stay on your device
WipePic reads your photos in your browser, with the same engine that cleans them on the home page. The photos, their file names and their metadata are not uploaded, and you do not need an account. The report is free, with no daily limit. Your browser builds the CSV file and saves it on your device.
The report only reads your photos and does not change them. To remove the data that you found, go to the WipePic home page, drop the same photos and click Remove hidden data. You can see more free tools on the tools page.
Questions
How do I export EXIF data to CSV?
Drop your photos or a folder on the box above. WipePic reads each photo in your browser and shows one table row per photo. Then click Download CSV. You get a file named exif-report.csv that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
Which columns does the CSV have?
File name, folder, format, size in bytes and a result. Then one Yes or No column for each kind of hidden data that WipePic can remove: location, camera and phone model, date and time taken, author and copyright, apps used to edit, AI labels, Content Credentials (C2PA), text notes, small preview copies, Motion Photo video and other hidden data. The last three columns hold the GPS position, the camera model and the date taken, when the photo has them.
Are my photos uploaded to make the report?
No. WipePic reads your photos inside your browser. The photos, their file names and their metadata are not uploaded, and the report is built on your device. The site uses Google Analytics for visit statistics, but your photos are not uploaded.
How many photos can I put in one report?
Up to 300 photos, and each photo can be up to 50 MB. WipePic reads JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, AVIF, GIF, TIFF and DNG files. You can pick a folder, and WipePic reads the photos in its subfolders too. For more photos, make a second report.
Does the report show every EXIF tag?
No. It shows the kinds of data that WipePic can remove, in plain words, plus the three values that people ask for most: the GPS position, the camera model and the date taken. It is not a raw dump of every technical tag. Data that has to stay so that a photo looks the same, such as rotation and color profile, is not in the report.
Does making a report change my photos?
No. WipePic only reads them. Your files stay as they are. To remove the hidden data, use the main tool on the home page, which gives you cleaned copies.
